12 Hours: Florence

So living in Rome has many benefits, one of them being that Florence is only a 1 hour train journey away. So little sister and I decided to take advantage of TrenItalia’s 2for1 Saturday ticket offer and spent 12 hours pottering around the beautiful streets of the Tuscan city.

Gucci Museum

Whilst we were there Joana Vasconcelos had a small exhibition as well as the special loafer collection celebrating 60 years of the famous Gucci shoe. [Sadly both museums did not allow photos to be taken so these are taken from the websites]

Whilst there is stills lots to see in the beautiful city we ran out of time an energy, but I would love to return during winter so I could explore more and also see the city in another season.
